Frequently asked questions

Grouped answers on booking, the studio, delivery and payment. If anything differs, our terms and conditions and privacy policy prevail.

Booking

How do I book a session?

Use Contact, call 020 261 8473 or email [email protected]. Describe service, duration and dates. Within 2 working days we send a VAT-inclusive proposal. After acceptance and a 30% deposit the slot is firm.

How fast do you reply?

We aim for 2 working days. Busy periods may take longer; we will tell you. Proposals are normally valid for 2 weeks unless another term is stated.

Which payment methods do you accept?

Bank transfer for deposit and balance; card payment in the studio where indicated. IBAN and reference are on the proposal and invoice.

Can I reschedule or cancel?

More than 4 days before the session: free reschedule or cancellation with deposit refunded within 14 days. Shorter notice: see article 7. Notify changes in writing via [email protected] with phone confirmation.

Do I have a right of withdrawal as a consumer?

For distance contracts you have 14 days to withdraw, subject to exceptions if the session starts at your request before that period ends. Full detail is in article 8.

In the studio

When are you open?

Monday–Friday 11:00–20:00, Saturday 10:00–16:00. Closed on Sunday. Sessions are by appointment only; we leave buffer time between bookings for setup and soundcheck.

Can I bring someone along?

One or two guests in the control room are usually fine. Larger groups need prior agreement because of space and focus in the live room.

How long does it take to record a song?

A single track around three minutes often needs a half-day block once warm-up, punch-ins and comps are counted—less if charts and lyrics are tight, more if arrangements change in the room. Prep tips: warm-up guide.

What if the session runs over?

Extensions only if you ask and the next slot is free. Extra time is billed at the hourly rate from the proposal.

From what age can artists record?

Participants under 16 need written consent from a parent or guardian who books and pays; an adult stays present for the whole session.

Files and delivery

What format do you deliver?

Standard 24-bit WAV at 48 kHz or your project sample rate. Multitracks, stems or stereo mix depending on service. Master formats: master delivery guide.

How long do you keep project files?

24 months after the last activity on that job, then we delete unless you buy extended storage. Back up yourself within that window.

Can I send stems for mixing?

Yes, offline mixing starts once we receive complete, aligned files. Leave headroom; see headroom on stems. Per-track rate: €185 incl. VAT.

How many mix revisions are included?

2 revision rounds: one bundled feedback list per round. Mastering includes one revision in the base rate. Extra rounds are quoted separately.

When do I get the final mix or master?

After full payment of the balance. Until then we may withhold final exports; working files follow the archive rules in article 10.

Rights and use

Who owns the recordings?

Compositions and lyrics you supply remain yours. For recordings you paid for we assign producer rights to you after full payment, as set out in article 11.

Can I bring samples?

Only if you have the rights to use them. You warrant samples are cleared; we handle the technical capture.

Do you use my voice for AI?

No. We do not train AI on client recordings and do not create voice clones without separate written consent.

May you use my project as a reference?

Only with your written permission on project or artist name.

What happens to personal data in recordings?

We process data under the privacy policy. Treat guest lists or scripts with names as confidential; contact [email protected] about a DPA for business jobs.

Rates and payment

Are prices including VAT?

Yes, site rates include 21% VAT. Services also shows ex-VAT amounts, e.g. €78.51 per vocal hour versus €95 incl.

How much is the deposit?

30% of the agreed VAT-inclusive price on confirmation. Balance on session day (consumers) or within 14 days of invoice (business).

What does a full day of live band cost?

An eight-hour live band day is €920 incl. VAT with engineer. Hourly: €125. Details on Live band recording.

Are there EP packages?

Mix EP up to five tracks: €720 incl. VAT. Master album up to twelve tracks: €545 incl. VAT. Single-track prices on Mixing and Mastering.

What if I pay late?

Business clients may be charged statutory commercial interest and reasonable collection costs. Final files stay withheld until payment is settled, as in the payment article of our terms.
