Why this studio exists
Misfiredexa is built for musicians who want to play together and for producers who need tight vocals or voice-over. Scheduling stays tight: by appointment, one engineer per session, without a rotating roster of freelancers behind the screens.
Clients include solo artists, bands, labels, agencies and trainers recording e-learning. We do not sell bundles with hidden hours; rates are on Services and in every written proposal.
The rooms
Live room (about 34 m²)
Drums, bass, guitars and keys at once; space for reamping and cab setups. Individual headphone mixes where the setup allows.
Iso booths (2)
Lead and backing vocals, rap and doubles with controlled isolation from the live room.
Voice-over booth (about 6 m²)
Directional microphone and quiet environment for ads, modules and audiobooks. See Voice-over recording.
Control room
Desk with 20 inputs, patchbay to live room and booths. Mixing here or offline via Mixing.
Gear and approach
We keep roughly 19 microphones on site—condensers, dynamics and a small-diaphragm pair for drums and acoustic sources. Which capsule we pick depends on voice or instrument; we do not publish brand lists as if they guaranteed an outcome.

Location and access
Eerste Helmersstraat 78, 1054 DL Amsterdam (Oud-West). Tram 13 stops at Eerste Helmersstraat; from that stop it is about a 2-minute walk to number 78. From Amsterdam Centraal, tram 13 towards Amsterdam Sloterdijk takes roughly 15 minutes. By bike from Leidseplein it is about 7 minutes via Overtoom and De Clercqstraat.
Opening hours: Monday–Friday 11:00–20:00, Saturday 10:00–16:00. Closed on Sunday.. Book via Contact; we confirm by email once deposit and proposal are settled. Legal details: Legal notice.
